Brandon Bruce Lee, born on February 1st 1965, would have turned 48 years old today.
And it’s been nearly two decades since his tragic death during the filming of the movie “The Crow”.
He was the son of the martial arts legend Bruce Lee and his wife Linda Emery and was born in Oakland, California.
Shortly after his birth, the Lee family moved to Los Angeles and when Brandon was 6 years old (1971) they moved to Hong Kong.
He moved back to the United States when he was 9 years old following his father’s tragic death.
While he started training with his father at a young age, he didn’t start studying martial arts seriously until his teens, and sought out his father’s student and confidant, Dan Inosanto, for training in his father’s art of Jeet Kune Do along with the other arts taught at the Inosanto Academy.
Happy Birthday, Brandon!
May you rest in peace.
